Winter Carnival

The CLA Annual Winter Carnival was held on Saturday, February 9th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Highland Haus and Alpine Haus.  Although the weather conditions and the condition of the snow caused the cancellation of all outdoor activities except the Ice Skating Rink, a good time was had by all that attended.  Dee Jay the Clown entertained children and adults alike with his Clown Show and Balloon Animals at the Alpine Haus.  The kids were also kept entertained with a variety of crafts and non-permanent tattoos.  Everyone enjoyed the hot dogs, baked beans, chips, cookies, hot chocolate and coffee.

The CLA Board of Directors wish to thank all of the Community Volunteers, the CLPOC Maintenance Department, CLPOC Safety and Mobile Watch, Dennis Wolfe, Rick Kempton and his team from Coldwell Banker Lakes Realty and Chip Issette and his team from Century 21 White House Realty for helping to serve and for setting up tables to greet our visitors and hand out a variety of promotional items.  And thank you to everyone who came out to make this a fun day.
