Lakeside Motor Sports Summer Concert Series

It is with great pleasure we are able to announce the return of the Lakeside Motor Sports Summer Concert Series.  Anticipating a summer when we can all mingle in the fresh summer air, & enjoy the beauty and camaraderie of Canadian Lakes, we have scheduled a (shortened) season of 3 Saturday concerts on July 31st, August 21st and August 28th.  You won’t want to miss them … Bring a lawn chair to the Reuther Music   Pavilion, or pull up your boat to Pierce Beach on West Lake ...

•  July 31st ~ SwingShift is an elite 10-piece band, playing Jazz, Latin, Swing-era, and dance favorites.

• August 21st ~ Atomic Annie is a variety cover band presenting music you know and love with its own special twist from the ‘60’s to the ‘90’s, featuring alternative to modern rock/pop covers.

• August 28th ~ The Kari Lynch Band (a Canadian Lakes favorite), returns with its alternative-country style, based in Nashville.

CLA Shopping Spree - Feb. 1 - June 21

• SHOP at businesses advertised in the 2020-2021 CLA Membership Directory and Buyer's Guide (yellow pages) & SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS!

• Write your First and Last Name on the back of all your receipts and DROP them in any one of our three “Receipt Collection Boxes” inside CL Pharmacy, Hixson’s and Ace Hardware

• Each receipt enters you into a DRAWING!!!

  • ** TWO WINNERS will be randomly drawn **

  • Winners will be announced in the CL News on Friday, June 25th

Canadian Lakes Craft Show - June 26

Mark your calendars and come join us on Saturday, June 26th, at the CLA Summer Arts and Crafts Fair on the grounds of the Highland Haus. Visit artists and crafters at their booths from 10:00am until 3:00pm and check out their amazing creations! Watch the CL News for more details. CLA Summer Picnic - July 3

Bring your own lawn chairs & blankets for our CLA Summer Picnic on Saturday, July 3, from 5:00-7:00PM at the grounds of the Highland Haus.  You won’t want to miss this Event which will include … (all free) Hot Dogs, Chips, Cookies, Ice Cream, Music, the Balloon Guy, and Toys for the Kids at our “Ant Hills”.

CLA Membership Cards

CLA Members who renewed their membership for 2021 by the end of February received a Membership Card in the March Lite Lines. The March Lite Lines was mailed the end of February. If you renewed since the March Lite Lines were published, alternative arrangements will be made to get a Membership Card to you.

The Canadian Lakes Association (CLA) is an organization within Canadian Lakes that promotes friendship and goodwill among our members by sponsoring activities for the education, entertainment and support of all Canadian Lakes Members, their family and guests.  The one thing all of these activities have in common … they are  always FUN!  Which led us to what we thought would be a very appropriate  slogan for the CLA … “COME JOIN THE FUN”. You will be seeing the CLA use this    slogan in upcoming publications.

CLA Medical Supply Room Update

Appointment Required!

• Open Fridays from 10:00am - 10:30am by appointment only.

• To schedule an appointment you must contact Sharon Schmidt at 517-483-3182 no later than 5:00pm on Thursdays.

• Pick up or return medical equipment at the Alpine Haus.

• Please ensure all returning equipment is clean and disinfected.

We appreciate your cooperation. Watch for additional medical supply room updates in the CL News.​

Buy a Brick

​The Commemorative Garden in front of the Castle is open to all CLPOC members and their families. By purchasing a brick engraved with your loved one’s name, it will be part of a lasting memorial/tribute. The possibilities are endless. This will be not only a memorial to a loved one, but it can also be a living tribute to a parent, grandparent, child or grandchild, special friend, a special anniversary (25th/50th/60th, etc.), or maybe just YOUR name and message engraved for posterity.
