Bass Tournament

19th Annual Bass Tournament

13 boats were entered in our tournament from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturday, June 24, and 12 of them weighed-in the limit of 5 largemouth bass.  First place winner for total weight of 5 fish at 18.66 pounds was the team of Ford and Ford.  Snyder and Vinton had the largest Bass at 4.78 pounds.  The first five places for total weight of 5 fish all recorded over 16.5 pounds, and the 5 largest bass were all over 4 pounds.  All bass caught were released live.  These results again indicate that our Bass fishery is very healthy and the continued practice by all good fishermen of "Catch and Live Release" and our muskie stocking is helping.  Thank you to Jason Snyder for directing this tournament,
